Final Project

Two techniques that i used to create my project on Wolfgang Weingart are fake text wrapping and cutouts.

-If you have a picture that you want to have the text in your project to line up against or "wrap" against you can use this method. First use the pen tool to draw a path in the shape that you want your text to make. Then select the text
tool, place the cursor inside of the path until it changes to a different cursor that looks like this (T) (sort of). Once you get that cursor click and begin typing. After you finish typing, click on the background layer in order to make the path line disappear, and that is how you create a fake text wrap.

-For a cutout that I used to extract only Wolfgang Weingart from a photo that was taken from him you begin with the pen tool again. Create a path surrounding the picture with a wide loop around the hair of the person. After completing the path by connecting the ends, you click make a selection and have a feather raidus of 2. After that you go back to layers and hit apple shipt I, then delete and apple D. Then make the background white. Then grab the eraser and make it soft and transparent. Use the eraser to remove all of the access color from the picture. Then your final step is to create a drop shadow. Go to layer style and click drop shadow. Then Layer style again and click create layer. Then navigate to the layer that the drop shadow is on and put a gaussian blur filter on it, finishing your cutout.

Cutout Number Two

The goal of this project is it make a successful cutout of a person with their hair looking natural as opposed to chopped off.

After using the pen tool, this is what i came up with. This is the second step in the cutout process. Now I will work on getting rid of the excess space around her hair.
This is a photo of the second to last step. I have finished cutting her out and will now add a drop shadow.
After adding the drop shadow, it adds a final look on the cutout.
